WordPress

eduBuzz also has WordPress installed. This is what you see when you go to edubuzz.org. WordPress is primarily a blogging tool, but can be used to make quite complex websites. WordPress is used in East Lothian for School Websites, Class Blogs, Student Blogs and Teacher Blogs. Even our Director of Education writes a blog at http://edubuzz.org/donsblog/

Now it's your turn:
  1. Go to http://edubuzz.org/register/
  2. Fill out the details and tick the box which says 'Yes, I'd like to create a new site' - make sure you use your edubuzz.org email address. Use your @edubuzz.org username as your WordPress username and as your Blog URL.
  3. Once you've created and customised your WordPress blog, write a post on what you've been learning through this course.
  4. Tweet a link to your blog post.
  5. How might writing a blog be useful to enhance your learning?
